What we do for you

A buyer who knows what to expect saves you time. Here is what that looks like for each profession.

  • Estate agents (agents immobiliers)

    Search profiles of buyers looking in your département: town, radius, budget, property type, bedrooms. Only from buyers who have explicitly agreed to share their profile with a local agency.

    We work with a limited number of agencies per département.

    A monthly demand report for your area: what foreign buyers are looking for, where, and on what budget.

  • Notaires

    Before the appointment, your clients read in their own language what the compromis is, how the ten-day cooling-off period works, what the conditions suspensives are, what makes up the purchase costs and how French inheritance law works in outline.

    The French legal terms are kept and explained, so your client recognises them when you use them.

  • Mortgage brokers (courtiers)

    Mortgages for non-residents explained in Dutch and English: deposit, borrower insurance, timescales, the mortgage condition in the compromis.

    We tell our readers that a broker used to working with non-residents will save them time, and we can mention you there.

  • Diagnosticians (diagnostiqueurs)

    Foreign buyers rarely read the survey pack because the technical French is hard going. We explain it in their language: DPE, energy audit, asbestos, lead, termites, electrics, gas, drainage.

    You can point your clients to that explanation along with your report.

Insurance, lettings management, tax and inheritance, building and renovation

Who we are

Marc and Marieke, from the Netherlands, homeowners in Sainte-Marie-la-Mer in the Pyrénées-Orientales. We bought our house ourselves, and that is where both websites come from: explaining to the next buyers what we wish we had known.

Marc has thirty years in marketing and communications behind him, much of it for brands such as Groupe SEB, Heineken, NS and BAM. He builds the websites, the tools and the audience.

Agence Cible is a Dutch business, registration in progress, based in Sainte-Marie-la-Mer.
